SLS Actiparc is proud to have contributed to the participation of the “Nous aussi” association in the LEKKAROD 2022 world race in Chamrousse (Isère), organised by Dominique Grandjean and Jean Louis Fortebrandi.
The “Nous aussi” association was set up in 1959 by parents of intellectually disabled children in the north of Haute-Savoie and Pays de Gex to open a school for their children.
The main aim of the association is to enable people with intellectual disabilities to receive an appropriate education, organise vocational training and then gain working status so that they can lead as normal a life as possible in socio-educational establishments.
So it was with great pride that Charlie, Valentin, Anton and Mickael took part in two 6km stages of this year’s race in double sledge driving, followed by France Rhône Alpes.
It was an emotional race, and the association was delighted to have been able to pass on the values of sharing, fair play and, above all, solidarity! The young people showed what they are capable of, and that the wealth of humanity lies in difference!
