The reindustrialisation projectOUR WILL: TO CREATE A TRUE ENTREPRENEURS' NEIGHBOURHOOD ON A HIGH VALUE ADDED SITE

Our objective

Our aim is to breathe new life into a site that celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2021, while playing a social role and contributing to local economic development, ultimately creating 450 jobs.

Environmental concerns are also at the heart of the project. We are convinced that rehabilitating a former industrial site has less impact than using agricultural land to build new buildings!

Entrepreneurs are attracted by Le Cheylas’ prime location, right in the heart of the Alps, but also by the dynamic, family and entrepreneurial spirit that reigns here.

Upcoming projects

Reclaiming derelict land is a major challenge for sustainable regional development, in order to meet the twin objectives of controlling urban sprawl, urban regeneration and, consequently, limiting the consumption of natural, agricultural and forestry areas. Come and discover our industrial estate in Chambéry with our warehouse rental in Chambéry.

The revitalisation of the Le Cheylas industrial site goes hand in hand with respect for the environment. 30 million will be invested in renovation and innovation. Rather than tying up farmland to build new buildings, SLS is bringing the 40,000 m² of industrial and office space available to companies from all sectors up to current standards.

This unprecedented investment embraces a spirit of innovation: there are plans to install renewable energy production, local energy management with hydrogen storage, and a multi-energy service station.

Le Cheylas, a benchmark industrial site for 100 years!

Le Cheylas, in the heart of the Grésivaudan valley, is a former industrial site dating back to 1921. Taken over and closed in 2015, this 30-hectare site has been undergoing rehabilitation since the end of 2017.

Reindustrialisation project

At the head of this ambitious project is Mathieu Janin and his company, SLS, which specialises in project structuring and reindustrialisation. This entrepreneur aims to restore the soul and dynamism of this industrial site.

This operation relies on the renovation of existing structures and the construction of new buildings. Twenty-five million euros have been committed to cleaning up the site, the cladding, and the roofing, in order to accommodate the first businesses.
