We are delighted to welcome ALSTOM to the SLS Actiparc Sillon Alpin site. Work on fitting out the premises began a few months ago, and the company will be moving in during 2021. The arrival of ALSTOM underlines the reindustrialisation work that has been underway at the Le Cheylas site for over 3 years, and motivates the entire SLS team to continue attracting new companies and jobs.
At this site, Alstom will be transforming trains, locomotives and trams, bringing innovation and modernity: wifi, passenger information, video surveillance and, of course, new engines. At a time of energy transition, diesel locomotives will be converted to electro-mobility, which is much more environmentally friendly.
